Bath A beautiful city in the West Country, Bath was founded by the Roman's. It was transformed by them into England's first spa resort, because of the natural spring water that occurs there. It is home to some of the finest architectural sights in Europe, including the Roman Baths built in the first century and Bath Abbey (1499), that can be found in the heart of the old city.
